Be interesting to see what comes out first, this or Asylum.
It’s still early to give a concrete release date unfortunately, but the idea is releasing it as soon as possible. I’ve been working on final details of the game for a while now and they are taking a lot longer than I planned.
Originally I wanted to release Seclusion at the end of 2017. That was possible to do, but I decided it’d better to improve some aspects of the game and I can say I’m glad I did. To me, Seclusion feels a lot better as a game now.
All I can say about the release date is it’ll be announced one month before the launch. So once you hear about it, release will be almost immediate.
I think I got influenced by Agustin a little too much
All in all, it’s very close.
Now it’s my fault
What can I say, I’m a very impressionable chap.
Will there be a version for Linux?
I’m considering it since Dagon supports Linux, but it’s not a priority until the Windows release.
Any news? The project is very impressive.
Last I heard, Seclusion was coming along great! @civanT shows up in our Discord community often, but he should be around these parts as well
News are inbound in the coming months this year for sure. As Agustin said, I’m always available for a summon in Senscape Discord channel if you have any questions about the game too. Cheers!
Life is a compromise, waiting for improvement is all well and good but can be problematic; I seem to recall that Netscape halted progress to revamp the code base and the delay cost them dominance. Sometimes one has to release and improve as one goes; Windows 10 is an example that delayed might have failed, but is now becoming rather solid.
Asylum needed to be released yesterday; customers have been lost in the wait.
Note that this discussion is about Seclusion, another game. But still, Asylum has never been on hold! We already have a large playable chunk and we can see a release in the horizon
My apologies, wrong thread.
Nope, this one: https://store.steampowered.com/app/702490/Seclusion_Islesbury
Reminds me of the Darkness Within series
